JA Worldwide Ranked Among World’s Top Ten Social-Good Organizations
For the seventh year in a row, JA Worldwide has been named one of the world’s ten most impactful social-good organizations, earning the #5 spot in the 2025 ranking by Swiss-based thedotgood.
The annual ranking—which began in 2012 under the name NGO Advisor—honors the most influential and innovative organizations in the global social-good sphere. In 2021, NGO Advisor rebranded as thedotgood to reflect a broader view of purpose-driven organizations. Recognizing that terms like “NGO” and “nonprofit” no longer fully capture the energy and direction of today’s changemakers, thedotgood champions the growing ecosystem of SGOs (social-good organizations) that prioritize sustainable impact over traditional metrics.
“From responding to humanitarian crises to focusing on development and advocacy efforts in tandem,” said thedotgood in a recent release, “the boundaries of the sector certainly have been moving and evolving, and are now somewhat blurred and perhaps irrelevant in keeping pace with continuous and rapid changes in our communities. The Top 200 world listing presents the Ivy League of the Social Good Sphere. These SGOs embody and carry out the very enriching and diverse criteria for what results in social profit.”
JA Worldwide has risen steadily in the rankings over the last several years—moving from #7 (2019–2021) to #6 (2022) to #5 (2023–2025). The rankings evaluate organizations across multiple dimensions, including holistic innovation, people-centered governance, global reach, and long-term impact. We’re innovating in how we teach entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial health—ensuring that young people everywhere gain the skills, mindsets, and opportunities to shape more inclusive, equitable, and thriving communities. Being named a top-ten SGO again this year reflects not just our history or our scale but also our ongoing commitment to future readiness and youth-centered impact.”
