Junior Achievement and IBM strengthen their global collaboration through SkillsBuild

Junior Achievement and IBM continue to strengthen their global collaboration through IBM SkillsBuild, an innovative digital learning platform designed to equip students and educators with the skills they need for the future of work.

Coordinated globally by JA Americas, the initiative has reached 14 countries across five regions during its 2025 pilot phase. In the Americas, the project is being implemented in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.

The project aims to make high-quality, free digital education accessible to youth with content available in multiple languages, SkillsBuild offers interactive learning experiences on topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and professional skills.

Since the initiative began in January 2025, it has engaged more than 75,000 learners and trained over 1,540 teachers to integrate the platform into their classrooms. The Americas region accounts for 47% of total learners and 73% of teachers, with 1,123 educators trained across participating countries.

Following its completion in November, IBM SkillsBuild represents a powerful step towards integrating digital learning within JA's global network, preparing young people to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
