Honeywell and Junior Achievement Americas drive the future of work and innovation in Latin America
In 2025, Honeywell and Junior Achievement Americas joined forces once again to bring new generations closer to the future of work and innovation through educational experiences that combine career guidance, mentorship, and hands-on learning.
Throughout the year, the Socios and Desafío de innovación programs engaged students from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico, offering unique opportunities to explore the world of work, develop key skills, and design solutions with positive impact in their communities.
Socios: Career guidance and exposure to the world of work
The Socios program brought together more than 100 students up to 18 years old from across the region, combining virtual sessions with an in-person experience at Honeywell offices in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Santiago de Chile, Mexico City, Monterrey, and San Luis Potosí.
Guided by company volunteers, students gained firsthand exposure to the workplace, discovered their interests, strengthened their vocational paths, and prepared for their first job interviews. Over approximately six hours of training, they explored potential career paths, engaged with teams from different areas, and learned how to build a strong professional profile.
The experiences generated meaningful learning for participants, who shared:
“This experience can contribute to our professional future because it really helps guide us in choosing a career or identifying our interests. Not necessarily studying something specific, but doing something we enjoy, something that interests us and aligns with our vocation.” Iván, participant from Argentina.
“Thanks to this experience, I realized what I really want to study, what I like, and what I am passionate about.” Jaqueline, participant from Mexico
“I understood that what I have to do is be patient and if I like something, keep going, keep studying it and put effort into it above all else.” Camilo, participant from Chile.
Desafío de innovación: Creativity and impact-driven solutions
In Ciudad Juárez, the Desafío Innova program invited more than 100 young people between the ages of 15 and 18 to spend a day at Honeywell offices. There, they worked in teams, applied innovation tools, and designed solutions with positive impact for their communities.
The experience combined creativity, critical thinking, and the foundations of STEM disciplines, with the support of corporate mentors who guided students throughout the process.
Through these initiatives, Honeywell and Junior Achievement Americas continue to support the development of the next generation of leaders, helping young people make informed decisions and open doors to their future.
