Job Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating and managing regional implementation of educational projects that involve regional sponsors and JA affiliates in the Americas Region. Also, for the planning and executing of these initiatives according with the requirements and standards of sponsors and JAWW.
Also serves and provides support to Member Nations in every aspect related to programs: volunteers, curricula, impact measurement, materials, trainings, etc.
Responsabilities
. Manage program implementation and steward grants associated with regional projects to ensure all grant´s objectives are addressed and adhere to all reporting requirements associated with each.
· Oversee program quantity and quality.
· Help Member Nations on recruitment and training of volunteers.
· Plan, lead, analyze and communicate results of impact measurement activities related with special projects.
· Maintain the connection and communication between the operational actors with other partners across the region.
· Coordinate Regional projects launches.
· Support in gather information regarding news, success stories and events across the region to be included in newsletters, special platforms, annual report, and social-media tools.
· Identify and disseminate success trends and best practices across the network through communication channels.
· Maintain database of information on all projects and updated.
· Collaborate with the organization of regional events and conferences, including staff training and student competitions.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field
· +3 years of project management or organizational management experience
· Non-corporate project management experience preferred (USAID, IDB, etc.)
· Fluency in Spanish and English is required
· Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to analyze and evaluate all data relevant to all JA systems
