Mónica Flores (ManpowerGroup), Dominique Virchaux (Korn Ferry) and Joe Andris (Caterpillar) join the JA Americas Regional Board as new members, strengthening their companies' commitment to preparing young people for the 21st century economy and job creation.
The JA Americas Regional Board welcomes three new members who have recently joined: three executives of wide trajectory and influence at regional level, which represent companies committed to the JA´s mission. We are honored of welcoming:
Monica Flores Barragan (ManpowerGroup): Mónica Flores, President Latin America for ManpowerGroup, is responsible for the company’s operation across 18 countries, with more than 3,500 employees and more than 120,000 associates. She is President of American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and a member of the Board of several universities, public institutions, and private organizations.
Mónica promotes diversity and alliances amongst governments, civil organizations, and private enterprises in order to close the gap between the supply and demand of talent in the formal labor market. She is the author of “How to find your first job”, a guide to help youth integration into the workforce. She has been avowed by the Mexican Senate as “2011 Distinguished Woman”. Monica was acknowledged as one of the Five Outstanding Women in Corporate Social Responsibility and one of the Most Powerful Business Women in Latin America. At a global level, she named one of the Ten Main Promoters of Diversity, as well as one of the Most Influential Women in the Staffing Industry and a Human Resources leader of opinion. She graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico as an Actuary. She holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the Panamerican University, as well as a Master in Business Administration from IPADE Business School.
Dominique Virchaux (Korn Ferry): Dominique Virchaux is President, South America for Korn Ferry and is also on the EMEA Operating Committee of the firm. Dominique has conducted numerous high-level assignments across multiple industries and geographies spanning the Americas and Europe. His ability to provide the cultural bridge between those three continents is unmatched, as he has spent more than two decades in executive search in the United States, Europe and in Latin America.Recognized as one of the leading search professionals worldwide in The Global 200 Executive Recruiters, Dominique has established a strong reputation for building broad consultative relationships with his clients. Dominique has a degree in business science from Fribourg, Switzerland and is a certified public accountant from State University of New York. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
Joe Andris (Caterpillar): Joe Andris is the Regional Treasurer/Finance Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Global Dealer Performance Manager for Caterpillar Inc., a new position created to support execution of Across the Table dealer improvement. He has been with Caterpillar Inc. for over 28 years and worked in Latin America for over 17 of those years as a Finance Rep, District Manager and Region Finance Manager/Treasurer, including living in Mexico for 4 years and Miami for 12 years. He has also worked for Cat Financial and Solar Turbines. Joe has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA and speaks fluent Spanish and some Portuguese. Joe has staff in Miami, Mexico, Chile and Brazil.
